119- Christmas 2012: Recollections
I hope that your Christmas/lack of Mayan Apocalypse was truly delightful!
At two points on Christmas my jaw dropped open and I was speechless. My wife had been snickering to herself for weeks about the fact that I had no idea what my presents would be this year & she absolutely was true to her word. Her first surprise was the Calvin & Hobbes Collection. I was truly flabbergasted. The second gift was a combination of many of my friends (including the ones that inspired this comic). They got together to buy me a new drawing tablet, which I used for today’s comic, and got it laser engraved.
CHECK IT OUT!!!!!!!!
I am honored and grateful for my friends & family that constantly surprise and bless me with their generosity. It is my fervent wish that you all have a wonderful and blessed new year.
See you guys in 2013!

There won’t be a comic tonight. There will likely not be another comic for a few weeks. I have some plans in motion to hopefully prevent that from happening, but I’m not counting on them working out.
Now, to do this I had better have a good reason. I would say that I do, but that’s not really up for me to decide. I hope that you will be ok with my reasoning.
My wife and I have decided to move back across the country. I won’t go into the details of why, as they are not really mine to share. I was going to try to keep with the schedule and continue publishing on Fridays, but that just doesn’t seem realistic with the tempo of this move. I will be leaving Portland in a few weeks and there is an insane amount of preperation that needs to be done before I go. Once I get to where we are going, I hope to pick up the comic and promise that there are some very fun things in store. I’ve been thinking about them and planning them for a very long time and hope to bring them to you within a reasonable amount of time. The only question is: what is reasonable... and I have no idea.
I am tremendously grateful for you guys and I earnestly hate disrupting the flow of things on here. I am truly sorry, and will keep you posted as things unfold.
See you soon.
