155 - The Wisdom of Planning Ahead

I don’t think that I’ve mentioned the newest Humble Bundle yet. It’s the 9th Indie bundle & has some really great games.  I’ve been playing a bunch of Fez*.  It also includes Brütal Legend, FTL* (if, for some strange reason you don’t already have Menu: The Game... and shame on you if you don’t),  Mark of the Ninja, Eets Munchies (beta) & Trine 2.  The ones with ‘*’s are if you beat the average price.  They also added Rocketbirds, A Virus Named TOM, Bastion, & Limbo as well for those who also beat the average.  Oh, by the way, the average is currently $4.76...

In other gaming news, my wife, brother-in-law & I have joined up with some friends for her first pen & paper RPG experience.  We’re playing a Pathfinder campaign & having a blast with it.  We also bought Star Trek: Catan while out at PAX.  To see what it’s like, there’s a great episode on TableTop about it.  We also bought the character packs for the traditional version of Catan; which make it more like the Star Trek variation... you know, minus the whole Star Trek stuff.
