179 - Mad-Eye Would Be Proud

Today’s the day folks.  Today the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars lands in its entirety on Netflix.  I’ve thoroughly this series since it started and it has been really incredible to watch as the animation technology and story telling have evolved.  I am leery of Star Wars: Rebels though (much as I was with Clone Wars when it first started to be honest).  From the trailers & promotional materials, it appears to be aimed at a much younger audience.  That makes sense, as it will be a Disney title & Clone Wars REALLY wasn’t aimed at a child audience with some of the really heavy content that it dealt with, but it’s still something that leaves me skeptical.  I have faith in Dave Filoni, who has been heavily involved in both, to do a great job.  As you can see... I’m conflicted.
