197 - Plot Twist
Zach Braff’s next movie, & spiritual successor to Garden State, Wish I Was Here comes out next week. It likely won’t be playing in my area, so I doubt that I’ll be able to see it right away, but the soundtrack is the thing that I’m really looking forward to. The song by Bon Iver was previewed on NPR a week or two ago & it is magnificent! It also has songs by the Shins, Coldplay, Badly Drawn Boy, Paul Simon, & Cat Power.
While I’m on the music topic, I just learned that another band that I absolutely love, My Brightest Diamond, has a new EP coming out. The first video is available & is delightfully weird in a way that makes me very excited for where the album may be going.
