272 - You Just Can’t Stop
As the comic implies, I played Firewatch the other day. I legitimately did intend to only play a little bit of it and didn’t realize that 5 hours had passed and I was at the end of the game. It’s an absolutely incredible experience. It’s really more like a choose your own adventure novel than a game. With that having been said, it really won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I really enjoyed it. I also found myself completely emotionally drained by the experience.
In other news: I finally found my Francis moment in Fallout 4. If you’re wondering, it’s the end bit of the Silver Shroud quest. It’s kinda a shame because that quest WAS my favorite quest in the game until the end when they pretty much ruined it with something incredibly obnoxious. I plan to remedy that by being equally obnoxious in how I complete it. So there.
