322 - The Doubliest of Standards

I wrote today’s comic while wearing a plain short sleeved shirt without a logo on it and felt like I was being kinda dressy. Which, for a 35 year old man, is probably a bit ridiculous. That having been said, I thoroughly find the amount of time that women are expected to take to prep for things ridiculous. I love that my wife chooses to not wear a lot of makeup and I find that she’s even more beautiful because of it. That’s not to say that folk shouldn’t wear makeup. There are many people who wear it because it makes THEM feel pretty. I think that that’s rad. If they’re doing it for their own edification, I’m super happy for them.
