325 - Behind Door Number Three

Convenient that I would be writing to you about a new Jonathan Coulton album on May 1st. It’s called Solid State & it’s wonderful. I am very much looking forward to diving into the lyrics and, at some point, getting the companion graphic novel. For now, the thing that stands out about the album the most to me is that I was able to lull my youngest to child to sleep to it at multiple points this weekend while my wife was working a convention. Aside from its ability to help the baby in my house go to sleep, there are a few tracks that are positively haunting. There’s also a song with very sage advice: Don’t Feed the Trolls.
