180 - Dense with Imagery
I want to thank my friend Jasmine for her help with this week’s strip. I usually run the comics by my wife, but she only played WoW for about 30 minutes before getting mad that I made her follow me off a bridge or something and quitting: therefore, most of the references in this would be completely lost on her. Jasmine was gracious enough to let me bounce the concepts off of her to make sure that it was funny to someone who does still play MMOs before going to my wife to see if it was also funny to a person with almost no MMO experience. They both offered some really great feedback & I’m pretty happy with the results.
In other news- in case you hadn’t garnered it from the comic itself, Hearthstone is out of beta. Granted, not a whole bunch changed for a free-to-play game that was in Open Beta to become a free-to-play game to be available to play outside of Beta... but it’s still fun that it’s fully launched now. The game continues to be a blast & if you enjoy strategy and/or card based games, you should check it out.
Also also wïk- I’m REALLY happy to be able to bring in the new characters. I’ve been wanting to add them in for quite some time, but it’s just never quite worked out right.
