Today was a bit of a milestone for my son & I.  It marked the first time that he put together a LEGO set pretty much on his own.  I feel like this is pretty special because he won’t be four until July.  My part in the experience was largely limited to sorting the bricks by color and then asking him over & over if what he had done was the same as what the instructions were showing.  It was really really neat to watch him either intuit what was next on his own or to see the wheels turn as he figured out what would need to happen.  I was grinning like an idiot the entire time and was exceedingly proud of him throughout.
