I’ve now spent a week ruminating on how I feel about Age of Ultron. I shall start with a minor spoiler in thanks: there was no Jar-Jar... so, we start this on a good note. I think that it will be a movie that will be better upon multiple viewings. There is just too much crammed into it to easily parse on an initial viewing.  I left the theater somewhat overwhelmed by just how much was crammed into the film.  It did a lot to push into Phase 3 and jammed as many of the heroes into it as it could, while introducing even more.  I am slightly worried, especially with the announcement that Civil War will have pretty much the entire population of the Marvel universe, that they will soon start to crumble under the weight of so much excellence.

I guess that that’s a decent problem to have though.
