I am as much of a Star Wars nerd as anyone else... probably more than most, but the zaniness that accompanied Force Friday a week ago was something that went a bit far. I commend Disney being able to send out the astonishing amount of merchandise that they did, but I did see some truly ridiculous things. Thankfully, the two things that I mentioned in panels 2 & 3 don’t actually exist... I hope. We managed to escape mostly unscathed: a Christmas present for the boy-child & some fabric that wife plans to use later on.
I continue to do prep work for this year’s NaNoWriMo novel and am pretty excited about it. This is the first year that I’ve done character studies & scene breakdowns to cover the whole plot of the novel while also planting seeds for future books if I have fun with this group of characters. I’m pretty excited about it.
