My wife & I were in a wedding this weekend and, as has become my tradition, I am performing a bit of a toast here for the bride & groom. It was lovely. I got to pretend like I can clean up to some extent and show my wife what I look like in a tux. The weekend was lovely and I couldn’t be more happy for these two. They are a delight.
In other news, The Taken King has arrived and it is pretty excellent so far. Before we drove out to the wedding, I ended up getting to play some & got one of my characters to 40. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next. The thing that I am tremendously happy about so far is that the story seems to actually be taking place in view this time around... unlike how vanilla Destiny had locked the story bits behind the Grimoire Cards. It also doesn’t hurt that Nolanbot does a great job and Nathan Fillion’s character is really really fantastic this go around.
