275 - Meta-Gaming at its Best
XCOM continues to be the game that I sit down to play “a mission” and end up “getting a call from a friend who is surprised that I’m awake at 3:30am but saw me playing the game on Steam.” Seriously, the latter happened to me on Friday (well, really Saturday) night (morning). So... I guess you could say that I enjoy it. It definitely takes the really fun things from the last one & turns them to 11. ‘Tis delightful.
I know that I mentioned that fun things are in the works, and as soon as I get the word on some, I’ll share. There’s another project that I need to decide the particulars on, and then I’ll share. Another, one that I actually CAN talk about now is that I’m working to help plan a writer’s conference here in Austin, TX called BrainstormATX on June 18. Part of what I have been doing for the conference is the site, which is now live. Check it out!
