288 - Forming the Party pt. 2
This last weekend, we had a writer’s conference called BrainstormATX. It was a very grassroots kind of event that I helped plan and execute and it turned out rather well. There were some wonderful local authors and writing professionals. Even the beginning of the day, when there was no power and it was terrifically hot, we had an opportunity to just talk for a while. We were even regaled with tales of one of the presenters, Michael Bunker, who writes amish sci-fi... yup, that’s absolutely a real thing and you should check it out.
